Your mandate

As a key part of the Marketing team, in this newly created role, you’ll be passionate about writing and communicating brand and tactical messaging to internal and external audiences. You’ll be writing copy for a diverse and interesting range of communications that include (but are not limited to) collateral, case studies, articles for the internal employee magazine and press releases. You’ll also be responsible for writing copy for bid communications and will take ownership of the bid documents. Bid communications need to capture the imagination of the reader, tell a relevant story and articulate the experiences and benefits Civeo provides. No two bids are the same. The focus will be on writing, but you also need to be aware of communications processes and have an understanding and appreciation of good design.

 

Specifically, we are looking to you to:

  • Be the go-to member of the Marketing team for all copywriting requirements.
  • Own the bid documents and deliver to agreed timelines and deadlines.
  • Write all the marketing, sales and business-related copy for the bids, taking a story-telling approach.
  • Collaborate closely with the business development team to determine specific requirements and agree the “win themes”.
  • Brief the GM of Marketing and Communications (your manager) on specific marketing requirements for individual bid documents including formatting, images, maps, content, infographics, etc.
  • Additionally, you will write copy for a diverse and interesting range of communications that include (but are not limited to) collateral, case studies, articles for the internal employee magazine and press releases.

 

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Exceptional writing skills and a passion for creating clear, compelling copy which resonates with audiences and stands apart from the rest.
  • Experience in planning and managing communications projects, or business development tender submissions, within defined timeframes.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality work, with excellent attention to detail.
  • InDesign would be a plus.
  • Strong collaboration and team communication.
  • A creative, curious mind with the ability to challenge, question, and reposition

 

What’s the deal?

  • This role will be 3 days a week. There is flexibility around when hours are worked. There may be the occasional need to work additional hours when bid documents are being finalised for submission.
  • Based in our Sydney CBD office.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
  • Starting – as soon as possible!
