The role

We are looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Specialist to support and optimise our organisation’s digital marketing programs. Duties for the Digital Marketing Specialist will include:

  • Tracking campaign progress, optimising where needed and reporting on campaigns to the business
  • Developing various digital marketing materials, including images and copy for social media channels, advertisements, sales support materials, monthly newsletters and ad-hoc communications
  • Execute 2020 Marketing Strategy to achieve targets
  • Manage sponsorship and partnership deliverables
  • Create and post keyword targeted content marketing
  • Any other digital marketing activities.

Your creative thinking skills and strategies will be an essential part in driving our digital narrative, enhancing our organisation’s image, improving digital communication with hosts and guests, and encouraging business growth through effective campaigns.

Ideal candidates for this role should be creative and innovative, multimedia savvy, well-organised, and must be excellent writers and communicators. Ultimately, the exceptional Digital Marketing Specialist should have a firm grasp of the different digital touch points, drive highly effective digital campaigns, enhance user experience, and deliver on digital objectives.

Your experience

  • Experience building emails using platforms such as MailChimp
  • Ability to use a CMS such as WordPress
  • Sound knowledge of social media including posting via Hootsuite or a similar scheduling program
  • Capable using Adobe Creative Cloud applications to create images for posts, newsletters and ads
  • Solid experience using Powerpoint and Google Sheets
  • Comfortable setting up and managing Google Adwords campaigns, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn and other paid channels
  • Sound Knowledge of Google Analytics and other data analytics programs
  • Experience writing keyword optimised articles for SEO and SEM landing pages

The deal

  • Part-time: 2 days/week
  • Salary: $63k plus super (full time equivalent)
  • Location: We work from the Hoist, a co-working space in Sydney, or from home on a flexible basis.
