In a time of new business channels, access to business systems is a key concern for financial services clients. To ensure that both the financial institutions as well as their client’s information is properly protected, a sound Identity and Access Management policy needs to be in place. You will be part of the IAM Technology services team responsible for Identity Governance and Provisioning, Federation Services, Directory Services, Privileged Account Management (PAM), Multi-factor authentication and Public key Infrastructure (PKI).
The Identity and Access Management (IAM) Technology team is part of our Cyber & Forensics group within Technology Consulting in PwC. The IAM team consists of service architects/ product owners and dev/ops teams specialising in one or more IAM areas who are responsible for developing service strategy, architecture and roadmaps, engineering and support for IAM services and providing subject matter expertise to assist technology teams and our clients to get the most effective use out of IAM technologies.
About the role
You will be the single point of contact for operational service delivery, the person ‘on the ground’ to manage and deliver our services collaboratively and to facilitate access to the right team(s) to delivery on project requirements. Working closely with the Partners and business leaders in the execution of the Identity and Access Management strategy, you will liaise with our clients to develop and deploy strategic IAM programs and processes. You will think outside the box when it comes to thought leadership around IAM and risks/ drivers that companies face when implementing their strategy.
As an Identity and Access Management SME you will:
- Define IAM strategies
- Take a lead role in IAM transformation projects
- Translate business needs into access requirements and access models
- Relevant IAM experience in large enterprises, ideally with exposure to consulting, vendor organisation or corporate environments with established IAM and information security programs
- Experience in the following areas would be highly advantageous
- Strategy and roadmap development
- Solution implementation
- Program assessment and standards execution
- Vendor solution assessment
- Working knowledge of Dev/Ops and Agile methodologies
- Good understanding of technology infrastructure, IT security standards and IAM best practices
- Sound team leadership attributes with the potential to lead, coach and a passion to drive career development for your team members
