Established in 1997, WorkforceXS has expanded from a supplier of contract or on-hire staff, principally to the horticulture industry to include the supply of personnel, both temporary and permanent to almost any industry throughout most of Australia.

We value our people, foster a dynamic business environment and encourage ownership mentality. We have an exciting opportunity available for an enthusiastic and highly experienced Marketing Manager to join the WorkforceXS team.

The role

The ideal candidate will be a flexible and versatile marketer who will be responsible for not only looking after our current base of Business Partners (i.e. franchisees) but also our growth.

In this role you will have two hats:

  1. Attracting new franchisees through digital marketing channels; and
  2. Supporting our existing franchisee network with their marketing needs, working closely with an agency to ensure outcomes are met at a high standard.

You will deploy successful marketing campaigns and own their implementation from ideation to execution. You will develop, manage and deliver on our marketing plan and have input into our overall marketing strategy.

You will produce valuable and engaging content (articles, banner advertisements, downloadable templates, etc.) for our website and blog that attracts and converts our target groups.

Your ability to project manage will be of great importance as you will also have to oversee, track and optimise campaigns with external consultants/agencies including but not limited to:

  • Google Adwords;
  • SEO;
  • Social media campaigns – including LinkedIn, Facebook & Instagram;
  • Video production and distribution;
  • Merchandise coordination;
  • Brand management and coordination, maintaining and enforcing the brand manual; and
  • Event coordination.

You will be in charge of the marketing budget and we expect you to allocate/invest funds wisely. You will also measure and report performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight and assess against our goals.

Franchisee support

Your role will also include support to franchisees to develop local target advertising strategies to boost sales enquiries. This includes email campaigns, radio and TV advertising campaigns, ordering branded collateral, designing and editing print and digital marketing and with social media campaigns on various platforms (i.e. YouTube, LinkedIn and Facebook).

Key requirements

  • BS/MS degree in marketing or a related field
  • Demonstrable experience in marketing, together with the potential and attitude required to learn
  • Experience in managing agency relationships and marketing consultants
  • Proven experience in identifying target audiences and in creatively devising and leading across channels marketing campaigns that engage, educate and motivate
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends)
  • Proven knowledge and experience with InDesign or similar marketing related software
  • Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns
  • Numerically literate, comfortable working with numbers, making sense of metrics and processing figures with spreadsheets
  • Good taste, a sense of aesthetics and a love for great copy and witty communication
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement

What’s the deal?

  • Permanent Part-time: 4-5 days a week
  • Salary: between $90K-110K + super as a full time equivalent, depending on level of experience
  • Location: WorkforceXS National Office is based on St Kilda Road, Melbourne
  • Facilities: End of trip, great coffee shops and a short walk to Fawkner Park.
  • Starting: as soon as possible!
