An initial 12-month position to assist with the rapid growth of a technology business with Macquarie Bank backing. This role is ideal for a professional parent or those who require flexibility to balance other aspects of their lives but also want an interesting career.

We are a unique organisation, using a combination of our software, hardware and services to help blue chip customers monitor and control billions in precious commodities around the world. We have grown 100% in 12 months. We operate in a start-up environment, with the energy and excitement that comes with fast-growth.

This is not slowing, so we are on the lookout for a proactive and passionate Talent Acquisition Specialist who will assist in both operational recruitment activities, and projects that will see the company delivering strategic and best practices in line with an exciting growth plan.

With some 20-30 roles to be hired in 2020, ranging from remote electrical technicians to project engineers and software developers, the day to day role will include:

  • working with managers through the approval process
  • ensuring advertising and position descriptions represent what is required by the business
  • owning and managing all recruitment through our ATS
  • reporting on progress or challenges of recruitment against timelines and budget
  • identifying and building relationships with third parties that are cost effective and assist us with hard-to-fill roles

You will work closely with the HR Director and managers to ensure we build and improve our recruitment and talent attraction processes and strategies. We are also going through a brand and name change, so you’ll be a key part of building our future EVP and employer brand as we continue to grow and expand overseas.

Projects will include:

  • Defining and building collateral for our EVP
  • Building a new, experience driven, onboarding program using software
  • Developing sourcing strategies to ensure we
  • Building recruitment tools e.g. interview guides, manager training, templates

Role requirements

We are ideally looking for someone who has some experience in recruiting technical roles and has worked on building best practices relating to employer branding, sourcing and onboarding.

The successful person will need to demonstrate capability in:

  • Recruiting for technical teams, including software development, engineering and product
  • Taking ownership of end to end recruitment processes
  • Sourcing across multiple platforms with a focus on proactive headhunting
  • Partnering and advise hiring managers throughout the recruitment process
  • Developing messaging and collateral as we build our employee value proposition and employer brand
